We have always made our own ice cream in Asknish Bay Restaurant, using local ingredients, but since the start of the Summer season our homemade icecream has also been served in our Chartroom II Bistro.

Our specially made ice creams are available as a dessert with your meal or in handy takeaway pots – to enjoy whilst wandering around our grounds meeting the highland cattle or exploring the beautiful Arduaine Gardens.

To celebrate this new offering we joined Scotland’s Ice Cream Trail, in conjunction with Visit Scotland’s Year of Food and Drink 2015, and are proud to be one of only a few in Argyll to be listed on the trail.

About Scotland’s Year of Food and Drink 2015:

The aim of Year of Food and Drink 2015 is to spotlight, celebrate and promote Scotland’s natural larder and quality produce to our people and our visitors and in doing so, further develop Scotland’s reputation as a land of food and drink.

If you are on a tour around Scotland you can plan your ice cream stop-off points using a handy Ice Cream Trail leaflet and Map produced by Think Local Scotland.
