The gold star award has recently been introduced by VisitScotland to highlight establishments within the Quality Assurance scheme that strive to exceed customer expectations on an on-going basis. They are limited to only a select few establishments and can be achieved by properties at any star grade. It means that our 3 stars that show on our VisitScotland grading will no longer be black but gold!
