Our new supplier of langoustines, crabs and squat lobster is based just around the corner from the Hotel at Arduaine Pier. Daniel and Calum go out each day, on their boat ‘Jackie M’, into the waters of Loch Melfort and Loch Craignish to see what delights are awaiting them in their creels.
It is then brought to our Kitchens the very same day for our Chefs to work their magic and served in Asknish Bay Restaurant or Chartroom II Bistro that evening – you can’t get much fresher or local than that!
At the end of September, we were one of the first in Argyll to be awarded a “Pass” under VisitScotland’s new ‘Taste our Best’ Scheme. This was due to sourcing over 40% of our ingredients locally, an ethos we believe very strongly in and strive to continue to do so.
