Inveraray Jail

This old 19th century prison, that at one time tried children as young as seven, is one of the best-preserved jails and courtroom complexes in the world. Dogs are welcome (free of charge), whilst you explore the large grounds, follow ghost hunts and take guided tours around the historic buildings. Certainly, one of the most interesting dog friendly locations in Argyll!

Not content with just being dog friendly, this brewery tour situated at the head of Loch Fyne also sells dog beer and biscuits! After a guided tour and tasting around the site, you and your dog can enjoy an award-winning pint in their sun soaked courtyard.
