By the sea
Walk along the beach at Loch Melfort, explore the beautiful and diverse Argyll coastline, and observe fantastic wildlife before the animals settle in for the winter with boat trips or land-based guided trips.
Back on land
Take a walk around nature reserves and forests wearing stunning autumn colours. Find out more on our blog. It is also a good time to visit whisky distilleries (good way to warm up!).
Back in time
Visit historic sites and castles within an hour of Loch Melfort: from iron age sites to medieval churches and 18th century architectural marvels, there is always something to see (and quite a lot of it indoors, so good in all weathers).
Closer to nature
Visit Arduaine Gardens with its stunning perennials and architectural planting. These stunning and unique coastal gardens are a treat in any season.
Time to put your feet up
