We pride ourselves in bringing you a welcoming family Christmas from the moment you arrive. By the time you check in, our staff will have already left little seasonal treats in your room, guaranteed to get you in the festive spirit. Make your way down to our warm, open fire lounge to enjoy a welcome tipple with us and sample some Christmas cake (made using a secret recipe from Calum’s Mum). As evening approaches, enjoy a lazy sunset over the bay before we serve up canapés, tasty festive cocktails and a seasonal 4-course meal. Can’t wait for Santa? Don’t worry, we’ll have an extra little gift waiting for you in your room when you head off for bed.
Christmas Day
- Continental breakfast, plus bacon rolls (or upgrade to a Champagne breakfast in your room for a £30 per person surcharge)
- 4-course Christmas lunch in the restaurant with festive cocktails and canapés on arrival and coffee and mince pies in the lounge after dinner

- Evening cold buffet to enjoy in the lounge
After breakfast, enjoy a lazy morning of gift unwrapping and snoozes or head down to Loch Melfort shores for a Christmas morning stroll. For those of you who are brave enough, we will provide extra towels for an early morning dip in the crisp Scottish seas. Christmas Lunch is one of our favourite meals of the year and you’ll be spoiled for choice with our chef’s delicious four-course menu. Made with the finest local produce, we also make sure we include all your yuletide dessert favourites – guaranteed to leave you feeling festively stuffed! In the evening, guests will be invited to join the ‘family’ for our Christmas quiz, accompanied by our delicious buffet of Scottish cheeses, cold cuts and mince pies.
Boxing Day
- Full Scottish breakfast
- Boxing Day lunch of soup and sandwiches in the lounge
- Signature seafood buffet dinner in the restaurant
A visit to Argyll wouldn’t be complete without taking in some of Scotland’s most famous wildlife. If leaving our estate sounds too much like hard work, why not take a stroll through our grounds and meet some of our friendly resident Highland cows before lunch. Finally, get a true taste of Scotland by joining us for a fresh seafood buffet dinner to finish off your festive getaway.
