First and foremost, to all our wonderful guests, restaurant customers, regulars, and those of you who have experienced what Loch Melfort Hotel & Restaurant has to offer for the first time this summer, we want to thank you for your support of our business and our amazing team since we re-opened in April.

The overwhelming positive feedback about the changes we have made to the hotel, and the customer experience we have provided, has been fantastic and hugely appreciated by all of us. Whilst we have been luckier than many of our industry colleagues and not experienced the level of staff shortages that others in the industry have, our team really does need a very well earned, long break

So … we have taken the very difficult decision not to open for Christmas, Twixmas or Hogmanay this year. We will close at the end of November and re-open at the beginning of February, having enjoyed a well-deserved break. We will return fully refreshed and ready to provide you with the experience that you know we are famous for – exact opening date to be confirmed.

To those of our regular ‘festive guests’ who had planned to return to Loch Melfort this year, we know you will be especially disappointed by this decision. We cannot apologise enough but hope that you will understand that the driver of this decision is the health and well-being of our team.
