Originally from Ukraine, Klym joined the Loch Melfort team in January 2026 after working as a Chef at Ardanaiseig Hotel. Starting out as a Kitchen Porter while building his confidence with English, he worked his way up to becoming a Chef, something he’s incredibly proud of. He loves the friendly team, the beautiful surroundings and the variety that every day brings in the kitchen. Outside of work, you’ll usually find him driving, playing guitar or getting stuck into a good book. His favourite dishes on the menu are the beef cheek and pork belly, and if you’re looking for his top tip during your stay, take a walk down to the shore and finish the day with a sunset at the bar.
As for a fun fact? He once made a Christmas tree entirely from half-litre moonshine bottles.
