Introducing a very special 7 course ‘A Game in the Woods’ menu and matched wine flight, exclusively for our upcoming Gourmet Night in November.
The gourmet menu features seasonal ingredients, locally sourced game including wild pheasant and freshly foraged ingredients such as dandelions, nettle, wood-sorrel, wild mushrooms and seaweed.
Food is prepared by our Head Chef, Michael Knowles, recently featured in the Best of the West Food Festival and Taste for Tourism event, together with his kitchen team and wine matching is prepared by Mike Cottam from Inverarity Wines.
Calum Ross, the owner of Loch Melfort Hotel, Mike Cottam and our Head Chef will talk at intervals throughout the meal, describing the food sourcing and how the wine complements each dish, as well as answer any questions you may have.
Our final Gourmet Night date for 2015 will take place on November 21st.
