Our team at Loch Melfort Hotel will give you a bespoke wedding, drawing on our many years of experience, best local contacts and reputation for hosting extra special weddings. We are able to cater for weddings of up to 150 with exclusive use for large weddings and intimate events for 2-30 people.
Loch Melfort Hotel has one of the finest views on the romantic West Coast of Scotland, perfect for beautiful wedding photographs that you will cherish forever. Our team of staff take great pleasure in making your big day one that not only you, but all that attend, remember for a long time to come.
For those who wish to hold their ceremony here, we have a choice of four Elegant Civil Ceremony Rooms, including a wood paneled library for small intimate weddings of up to 18, a Binocular lounge and deck for upwards of 14 overlooking Asknish Bay and onto the islands of Scarba, Shuna and Jura, our main lounge for 40-60 guests and, of course, the beautiful outdoors for up to 150 guests.
For those brave enough to second guess the Scottish weather, you could choose from a number of outside locations to have the ceremony itself, such as at the bottom of the steps leading down to the lawns, the boat house located right at the water’s edge or even inside the neighboring NTS Arduaine Garden for £250.
The ceremony itself can take place either in the two connecting lounges, in numerous outside locations or for smaller weddings, in our wood panelled library. A Scottish piper can be arranged for you to be piped down the aisle and into dinner, and the evening can be rounded off with Ceilidh dancing or your own choice of music.
We are fully licensed for civil weddings and there is a Church of Scotland Minister, Reverend Kenneth Ross (01852 200565), or a Humanist Celebrant, Annie Loughlin (01546 603444)
