Pets Welcome: Pets stay free in November and December!

We have 6 pet friendly ground floor rooms in the Cedar Wing and fantastic dog friendly grounds for walking the dogs in. After a lovely walk  curl up by our cosy log fire, enjoy a game of chess or read the newspaper and have a hot cup of tea and homemade shortbread. DBB is £95pp and your dog stays free! Offer excludes special weekend breaks, Christmas and Hogmanay.

10-12 September - Lichens of the Celtic Rainforest Weekend

Ever noticed that the trees in Argyll are covered in colourful leafy lobes and crusts, or that the twigs often have pale green shrubby growths?

The mild, wet weather here is ideal for lichens which grow alongside mosses, liverworts and ferns to give our ancient woodlands the appearance of a rainforest.

This is your chance to find out more! 2 nights DBB plus 2 days at Kilmartin House Museum with discovery led by Andy Acton and Anna Griffith. £225pp for the weekend includes 2 nights DBB and 2 days discovery. Based on 2 sharing a Classic Cedar Wing Room. Please book early to guarantee a place on the course.

26 September - World Stone Skimming Championship on Easdale

Easdale Island is the smallest permanently inhabited island of the Inner Hebrides. It was once the centre of a thriving Scottish slate mining industry, and one of the disused quarries forms a perfect arena for the World Stone Skimming Championships.

£150pp for 2 nights Dinner, Bed and Breakfast. One night in Arduaine Restaurant and one night in Chartroom II Bistro.

2 October and 4 December -  Gourmet Nights

For the ultimate gourmet dining experience. A 7 course gourmet delight with wines matched for every course. Proprietor Calum Ross and Mike Cottam from Inverarity Wines talk you through the food and wine pairing in an entertaining evening. £110pp for the Gourmet night with an extra night DBB for £75pp if you decide to make a weekend of it!

5 and 6 November - Bonfire and Music Night

Friday 5th November; watch the fireworks across the bay at Craobh Haven and enjoy our bonfire and music night. On Saturday, head down to Lochgilphead and join the famous lantern parade and fireworks. Dinner, Bed and Breakfast for 2 nights £150pp. Based on 2 sharing a standard room. One meal in Arduaine Restaurant, ne in Chartroom II Bistro.

12-15 - November Wild Art

A special art foraging weekend to tap into your creativity and utilise the fantastic beach and garden resources available on the doorstep. Susan Wood leads a casual weekend of activities which focuses on sharing ideas and techniques. No previous art experience necessary.

£250pp includes 3 nights DBB and all activities based on 2 sharing a Classic Sea View Cedar Wing Room. 'Non painting' partners £225pp for 3 nights DBB.
