First sighting of a red so close to the hotel. Sitting in my office looking out the window,the red leapt from tree to tree at the entrance of the NTS car-park and the scurried along the ground the field in front of Old Cottage.

Saw some beautiful Red Admirals near the path on the way down to the boathouse in front of the hotel.

Saw two herons today (5.30am and 6pm) flying over. Also saw three buzzards soaring.

Saw porpoise a few metres from the boat in the sound of Luing.
