The fourth Oban Sea Kayak Race is on Saturday 24th August 2013 at 1pm and is open to single or double sea kayaks, sea kayak teams and a new performance race category including ocean surf ski.
The race begins and ends at Oban on Scotland’s beautiful west coast and covers a distance of 20km. The race circumnavigates the beautiful and rugged Island of Kerrera. It’s a demanding route, through remote and exposed waters, but one that promises a memorable and fun event.
All proceeds from Oban Sea Kayak Race will be in aid of Oban Lifeboat. The 2012 race raised £1800 for Oban’s Lifeboat.
