Loch Melfort Hotel. Choose from freshly caught langoustines, lobster and crab, Islay Scallops, select
cuts of meat from Barbreck farm in Ardfern and game in season, all sourced from Argyll suppliers and
cooked by talented head chef Colin MacDonald and his team. Add to this seasonal vegetables and aromatic
herbs in season and you have true gourmet excellence. No wonder the Arduaine Restaurant's reputation for
fine food and friendly, dedicated service is fast growing, making it a favourite with house guests and
locals alike - including diners from Glasgow and Edinburgh who appreciate being able to escape the city

Our food has been consistently awarded 2 Rosettes by the AA since 2000 and we are
justifiably proud of this.
When it comes to food for the Arduaine Restaurant, we are ardent about sourcing the
freshest and best quality local ingredients for our menus, and over the
last months have sourced some wonderful produce, grown and prepared by
kindred spirits who reside mainly in Scotland and close to Loch Melfort.
Almost everything is home-made at Loch Melfort Hotel, from bread,
to marmalade, ice-cream and even our very own Scottish tablet, the exquisite
local confectionary delight!
We know that guests always like to get a flavour for the food they can expect
to be served before they visit. Every day a new dinner menu is devised by Colin,
offering a 5 course gourmet dinner, including appetizer and soup course, with at
least four choices for each course. Our impeccable, yet informal
and friendly service will give you plenty of time to talk to your friends,
enjoy the food or simply admire the breathtaking view.

The Loch Melfort Arduaine Restaurant is normally open every day for Breakfast and Dinner,
including Sunday and Monday evenings. Visitors are always most welcome.
Lunch parties available by request. Our spectacular Seafood Buffet
