Last Saturday saw Head Chef Peter Carr’s first Gourmet Night at Loch Melfort after joining us in June and as expected it was a great success. The evening was kicked off with speeches by Proprietor Calum Ross, Chef Peter and Mike Cottam from Inverarity Vaults whose job it was to match each accompanying wine with Peter’s creations.
Here you can see what culinary delights he created for our 44 guests, 2 of which were celebrating their 33rd wedding anniversary. Among the group were also press from Aberdeen Press and Journal, Scottish Field and The Daily Record, so no pressure!
Our next Gourmet Night is only a few weeks away on 24thNovember and filling up fast, but we are already planning 2013’s nights with 2nd March, 5th October and 23rd November already marked in the diary.
