Enjoy Some Local Scottish Music
This Friday the Perthshire-based folk group” Tarneybackle” are performing at Craingnish Village Hall about 10 minutes drive from the hotel.
The group was formed by Lorna Davidson (vocals, world percussion), Sandy Marshall (vocals, guitar, bouzouki) and John Davidson (vocals, guitar, mandola, mandolin, whistles) in 2000. Tarneybackle has published five albums to date: Winds of freedom, The diamond, Tullibardine, Looking out and The distant dreams. Most of the songs are traditional Scottish music with an extensive variety of instruments. In addition, Tarneybackle also plays contemporary music.
